WHAT WE DO

HBA is certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) by the State of New Jersey. With a total of nine staff members, the small size of our firm ensures that the members of our team work closely with clients on their projects. HBA’s ultimate aim is to empower clients to make wise decisions about the repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation of buildings in their care.

Led by Principal Annabelle Radcliffe-Trenner, AIA, RIBA, LEED AP, a technical staff of seven professionals apply their complementary skills and experience as appropriate to each project undertaken. HBA senior staff all have training in architecture and historic preservation and meet the qualification criteria for Preservation Architect under the Federal Guidelines set out by the National Park Service in 36 CFR Part 61. Project Manager Bonne Rawley, RA has solid experience and manages HBA’s in-house team along with coordinating project teams. Moreover, HBA’s Architectural Conservation Laboratory, run by our in-house Architectural Conservator Christina Burris, enables us to deliver material science services, such as analysis of historic mortars, efficiently and with precision.
