Annabelle Radcliffe-Trenner is the founding Principal of Historic Building Architects, LLC, Trenton, NJ, an award winning firm specializing in historic public buildings. She was trained as a preservation architect in Scotland and then at ICCROM in Rome, before moving to the United States in 1988. She has a keen interest in the long-term planning for historic buildings. She's especially interested in the ethics of intervention and adaptive use of existing buildings. The use of innovative technology and material science are key to the successful professional team collaboration that is the foundation of her work. Eager to educate the public, she lectures on preservation issues internationally. Annabelle is a licensed architect in the U.S. and Europe.
